Shelter Makeovers

Welcome to our Shelter Makeovers program, where we create empowering environments within shelters for Domestic Violence survivors. Through collaborative efforts with volunteers, donors, and community partners, we renovate shelters into warm, welcoming environments that provide comfort and safety, enhancing survivors overall well-being and providing a supportive space for recovery. 

This program focuses on individuals and families seeking refuge and support in shelters, aiming to provide them with personalized and comforting living spaces within the shelter environment. By creating sanctuaries within shelters, the program directly addresses the mental health and well-being of survivors, offering personalized and trauma-informed spaces.
